Ingredients:
- 1 oz Canadian Whisky
- 1 oz Sour Apple Pucker
- 1 oz Cranberry Juice
- 2 slices Fresh Granny Smith apple
- 1 Maraschino cherry (optional)
Instructions:
- Chill the glassware. Place your shot glasses in the freezer.
- Measure the whisky. Pour 1 oz Canadian Whisky into the shaker.
- Add the tartness. Add 1 oz Sour Apple Pucker to the mix.
- Balance with juice. Pour in 1 oz Cranberry Juice. Observe the deep red hue forming.
- Add the ice. Fill the shaker halfway with fresh, solid ice cubes.
- Execute the shake. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10 seconds until the shaker feels painfully cold.
- Strain the liquid. Pour evenly into the two chilled shot glasses. Straining keeps the ice chips out for a smoother mouthfeel.
- Garnish the drink. Place one Granny Smith apple slice on the rim or floating on top.
- Final touch. Drop in a maraschino cherry if you're feeling fancy.
- Serve immediately. Hand them out while the condensation is still thick on the glass.
