Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Canadian Whisky
  • 1 oz Sour Apple Pucker
  • 1 oz Cranberry Juice
  • 2 slices Fresh Granny Smith apple
  • 1 Maraschino cherry (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Chill the glassware. Place your shot glasses in the freezer.
  2. Measure the whisky. Pour 1 oz Canadian Whisky into the shaker.
  3. Add the tartness. Add 1 oz Sour Apple Pucker to the mix.
  4. Balance with juice. Pour in 1 oz Cranberry Juice. Observe the deep red hue forming.
  5. Add the ice. Fill the shaker halfway with fresh, solid ice cubes.
  6. Execute the shake. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10 seconds until the shaker feels painfully cold.
  7. Strain the liquid. Pour evenly into the two chilled shot glasses. Straining keeps the ice chips out for a smoother mouthfeel.
  8. Garnish the drink. Place one Granny Smith apple slice on the rim or floating on top.
  9. Final touch. Drop in a maraschino cherry if you're feeling fancy.
  10. Serve immediately. Hand them out while the condensation is still thick on the glass.
