Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef (90/10)
  • 16 oz Traditional Refried Beans
  • 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Beef Broth
  • 16 oz Full-fat Sour Cream
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 cups Fresh Guacamole
  • 2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Roma Tomatoes, seeded and finely diced
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Black Olives, drained
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Green Onions
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains. Drain the excess rendered fat to ensure the dip stays firm.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and beef broth. Simmer for 5 minutes until the liquid has fully evaporated and the meat is well-coated. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely to room temperature.
  3. Mix 16 oz Traditional Refried Beans into the warm beef mixture until smooth. Spread the bean and beef mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 dish.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk the sour cream with 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice. Carefully spread the sour cream mixture over the bean layer using an offset spatula.
  5. Add a layer of guacamole over the sour cream, followed by the shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Top with the diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, green onions, and fresh cilantro. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow layers to set.
