Ingredients:
- 1 lb Lean Ground Beef (90/10)
- 16 oz Traditional Refried Beans
- 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning
- 1/4 cup Beef Broth
- 16 oz Full-fat Sour Cream
- 1 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice
- 2 cups Fresh Guacamole
- 2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup Roma Tomatoes, seeded and finely diced
- 1/2 cup Sliced Black Olives, drained
- 1/2 cup Sliced Green Onions
- 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro, chopped
Instructions:
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains. Drain the excess rendered fat to ensure the dip stays firm.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and beef broth. Simmer for 5 minutes until the liquid has fully evaporated and the meat is well-coated. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely to room temperature.
- Mix 16 oz Traditional Refried Beans into the warm beef mixture until smooth. Spread the bean and beef mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk the sour cream with 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice. Carefully spread the sour cream mixture over the bean layer using an offset spatula.
- Add a layer of guacamole over the sour cream, followed by the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Top with the diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, green onions, and fresh cilantro. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow layers to set.
