Ingredients:

  • 12 standard size peanut butter cups
  • 12 chocolate squares (1 oz each)
  • 1 cup pre-made chocolate frosting
  • 1 drop black or dark brown food coloring
  • 12 mini M&Ms

Instructions:

  1. Arrange the 12 peanut butter cups on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  2. Load the chocolate frosting into a piping bag and pipe a small, pea-sized dab of frosting onto the center of each peanut butter cup.
  3. Press a chocolate square onto the frosting, centering it so it slightly overhangs the edges to resemble a graduation cap.
  4. Pipe a thin, curving line of frosting from the center of the chocolate square toward the edge.
  5. Press one mini M&M onto the end of the frosting line to serve as the tassel.
  6. Place the tray in the refrigerator for 60 minutes to allow the frosting to set.
