Ingredients:

  • 450 g lean ground beef
  • 680 g high-quality marinara or spaghetti sauce
  • 6 g garlic, minced
  • 3 g dried oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 425 g ricotta cheese
  • 50 g large egg
  • 10 g fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 g nutmeg (optional)
  • 255 g no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 340 g shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains. Drain excess fat, then stir in minced garlic and oregano. Pour in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and meat sauce, repeating twice more.
  3. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake at 375°F for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
