Ingredients:

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1.25-inch cubes
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Toss the steak cubes and shrimp in separate bowls with the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Allow the proteins to marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  3. Thread the proteins onto skewers, alternating between steak and shrimp.
  4. Place skewers on a high-heat grill or skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until the beef is charred and shrimp are opaque.
  5. During the final minute of cooking, brush the melted garlic butter sauce generously over all sides of the skewers.
  6. Remove from heat and let the skewers rest for 3 minutes before serving.
