Ingredients:
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1.25-inch cubes
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, finely grated
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Toss the steak cubes and shrimp in separate bowls with the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Allow the proteins to marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- Thread the proteins onto skewers, alternating between steak and shrimp.
- Place skewers on a high-heat grill or skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until the beef is charred and shrimp are opaque.
- During the final minute of cooking, brush the melted garlic butter sauce generously over all sides of the skewers.
- Remove from heat and let the skewers rest for 3 minutes before serving.
