Ingredients:

  • 0.5 cup Japanese Mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons Sriracha Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Rice Vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Soy Sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon Granulated Sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 0.125 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Pinch of White Pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the Japanese mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and granulated sugar (or honey/maple syrup).
  2. Add the optional flavor boosters: sesame oil, garlic powder (or minced fresh garlic), and a pinch of white pepper, if using.
  3. Whisk all ingredients together until thoroughly combined and smooth. Taste and adjust sriracha for heat, sugar for sweetness, or soy sauce for umami to your preference.
  4. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. This spicy mayo can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
