Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes. Stir the dry ingredients to ensure there are no clumps.
  2. Pour in the olive oil and lemon juice. Whisk vigorously for 30 seconds or shake in a jar until the oil and acid are fully integrated and the mixture looks opaque.
  3. Let the seasoning sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes to allow the dried herbs to rehydrate in the oil.
