Ingredients:

  • 4 lobster tails (approx. 6 oz/170g each)
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

Instructions:

  1. Using kitchen shears, cut straight down the center of the top shell from the head toward the tail, being careful not to cut through the meat. Gently pry the shell open and lift the lobster meat upward, resting it on top of the shell.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, zest, parsley, and paprika until the garlic is evenly distributed.
  3. Preheat the broiler to high. Brush a generous layer of the butter mixture over the exposed lobster meat.
  4. Place the tails on a parchment-lined baking sheet and broil for 8–12 minutes until the meat is opaque and the edges are mahogany-colored. Ensure the thickest part reaches 135°F to 140°F (57°C to 60°C).
  5. Remove from the oven and allow the lobster to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
