Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 cups cold filtered water
- 1 fresh lemon, thinly sliced
- 4 fresh strawberries, sliced into hearts
- 3 sprigs fresh mint
Instructions:
- Place 1 lb of hulled strawberries and 1/2 cup of sugar into a high-speed blender. Pulse until completely liquified.
- Let the mixture sit for 2 minutes to allow osmosis to intensify the flavor and color.
- Pour the strawberry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher. Use the back of a spoon to press the solids, extracting all liquid while discarding seeds and pulp.
- Add 1 cup of fresh lemon juice and 4 cups of cold filtered water to the pitcher. Stir until well combined.
- Garnish with lemon rounds, strawberry hearts, and mint sprigs. Serve immediately over ice.
