Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 cups cold filtered water
  • 1 fresh lemon, thinly sliced
  • 4 fresh strawberries, sliced into hearts
  • 3 sprigs fresh mint

Instructions:

  1. Place 1 lb of hulled strawberries and 1/2 cup of sugar into a high-speed blender. Pulse until completely liquified.
  2. Let the mixture sit for 2 minutes to allow osmosis to intensify the flavor and color.
  3. Pour the strawberry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher. Use the back of a spoon to press the solids, extracting all liquid while discarding seeds and pulp.
  4. Add 1 cup of fresh lemon juice and 4 cups of cold filtered water to the pitcher. Stir until well combined.
  5. Garnish with lemon rounds, strawberry hearts, and mint sprigs. Serve immediately over ice.
