Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs fresh salmon fillet
- 0.5 tsp kosher salt
- 0.25 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
Instructions:
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic until the oil is fully emulsified and the sauce is creamy.
- Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and season with salt and pepper.
- Generously apply the honey mustard glaze over the top of the salmon fillets, ensuring an even coating that covers the surface.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
- Remove from the oven and allow the fish to rest for 3-5 minutes. The residual heat will bring the final temperature to a perfect 145°F (63°C) for a flaky, tender texture.
