Ingredients:

  • 12 oz Ocean Spray Fresh Cranberries, rinsed and sorted
  • 1 large Navel Orange, washed and cut into 8 wedges (seeds removed, peel on)
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar

Instructions:

  1. Rinse 12 oz of fresh cranberries in cold water, discarding any soft or shriveled berries.
  2. Thoroughly scrub the navel orange. Cut into 8 wedges and remove any seeds while keeping the peel intact.
  3. Place half of the cranberries and half of the orange wedges into a food processor. Pulse 10–15 times until coarsely chopped (resembling chunky salsa).
  4. Transfer the first batch to a large glass mixing bowl and repeat the pulsing process with the remaining fruit.
  5. Stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar until thoroughly combined.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow maceration, which creates a natural syrup and balances the flavors.
