Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs fresh Atlantic or King Salmon, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp raw honey
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillet completely dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy exterior. Slice the fish into uniform 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the salmon cubes gently with avocado oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper until every side is evenly coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned salmon cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
  4. Air fry for 5 minutes. While the salmon cooks, whisk together the low-sodium soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and freshly grated ginger in a small bowl.
  5. Open the basket and brush the salmon bites generously with the soy honey glaze. Shake the basket to ensure even coating.
  6. Air fry for an additional 2–3 minutes until the glaze is bubbled and caramelized, and the internal temperature of the salmon reaches 145°F (63°C).
