Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs fresh Atlantic or King Salmon, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp raw honey
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
Instructions:
- Pat the salmon fillet completely dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy exterior. Slice the fish into uniform 1-inch cubes.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the salmon cubes gently with avocado oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper until every side is evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned salmon cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
- Air fry for 5 minutes. While the salmon cooks, whisk together the low-sodium soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and freshly grated ginger in a small bowl.
- Open the basket and brush the salmon bites generously with the soy honey glaze. Shake the basket to ensure even coating.
- Air fry for an additional 2–3 minutes until the glaze is bubbled and caramelized, and the internal temperature of the salmon reaches 145°F (63°C).
